If you need the lower cost, Made in China fluorescent systems, we have them. We carry both upright and inverted fluorescence microscopes from factories in China. Their cost is astonishingly low and the quality is usually good enough for basic work.

If you want to go all out on quality and get the best in the world, we have Zeiss and Olympus branded equipment. We also carry a good selection of these branded accessories. Our objective selection is excellent, with the top of the line Zeiss NeoFluar and the Olympus UPlanFl and UPlanApo, as well as many others.

Our branded units are all reconditioned. Many are factory dealer demo units with little use or wear. They are in excellent condition and most will perform as good as the day they came out of the factory in Japan or Germany. Their performance is significantly superior to the Made in China items that we and others carry. You will not find any Chinese equipment anywhere that can really be comparable to something like an Olympus BX40 fitted with a vertical illumination epi-fluorescence system and an HBO high pressure Mercury bulb, and using UPlanFl (Fluorite) objectives. But even being reconditioned, their prices are still going to be higher than the new China made. However, if you called up a dealer and asked what one of these brand new Japan or Germany made items would be, you’ll see that our prices are extremely competitive. Why pay so much more for a brand new unit when a good- as-new system can be purchased for so much less? If you need the best for your research, and that extra resolution or best color correction makes the difference in your work, then we have the high end equipment for you.

We can provide and connect digital USB camera equipment to any of the systems. Quality varies significantly on the digital cameras. To get a good image from a fluorescing specimen, you will need a highly sensitive chipset. These cameras cost in the 1000’s of Dollars. We provide as standard on the Chinese-made some simple USB eyecameras that will capture brightfield and phase contrast images.

We are dealers of Omega Filters so we can customize your order to meet your specific application needs. Most customers will need the standard DAPI, FITC, and TRITC dichroic filter cube sets with the systems. We can provide these brand new from Omega (Made in USA). We can also provide a wide variety of other filter spectrums as may be needed to match your fluorophore dyes. Please consult with us for details.
