- The stage surface shows wear, but as is typical with Zeiss quality, the stage has excellent movement, probably as good as the day it was built.
- There is a place for more filters (such as optional neutral density) to be installed in the vertical illuminator path. Those optional filters are not present, so there is black tape over the area to prevent extraneous light from escaping.
