Factory Description:

• BrightLine® single-band filter set, optimized for Cy3 and other like fluorophores
  This filter set is ideal for use with Cy3™ and a variety of other orange fluorophores (including DsRed fluorescent protein). It is optimized to provide the highest brightness, while maintaining a very high signal-to-noise ratio.
• Are you co-labeling with YFP, GFP, or FITC? In order to substantially eliminate green-fluorophore bleedthrough we recommend using our TRITC-B filter set. For mercury (e.g., HBO) lamp users labeling with Cy3 the single-fluorophore signal-to-noise ratio will be slightly higher, and the brightness slightly lower, with the TRITC-A filter set. Xenon lamp users of the TRITC-A filter set who are labeling with Cy3 will enjoy a significantly enhanced signal-to-noise ratio and reduced photobleaching in exchange for brightness.
• The BrightLine ZERO™ option guarantees that the worst-case image shift when interchanging Semrock ZERO sets will be less than ± 1 pixel, measured relative to the mean image position for a large sample of filter sets.

Compatibility: Cube is the narrow style for the 6-position turret on the Olympus BX2 and IX2 series (ex. BX41/BX51/IX71, etc) and also retrofits the older 4-position turret on the BX and IX series (ex. BX40/BX50/BX60/IX50/IX70, etc). It will not fit the BX3/IX3 series (ex. BX43/BX53/IX73 etc).
